It's been a long time since I've updated my blog, so there's probably 3 pages of posts to look through. I wanted to post all the fun things we've been doing this summer. It will probably be a long time until I post again so I hope you enjoy! We would also like to let all our Fort Bingham/Harrisville 8th Ward friends know that we have enjoyed every minute we've lived here and will miss them all so much! Ofcourse we will visit though:) We're off to our new adventure in life and I'll try to keep you posted!

Bear Lake

So this picture should be at the end, but I don't understand computers so oh well. On our way home from Bear Lake, I told Clay I could hear something..Then we look next to us and this car full of people is freaking out telling us to pull over. When we got out, they told us they could smell propane and seen sparks flying underneath our trailer. Our propane tank fell off and got stuck underneath the trailer on the axle, so we were dragging it 70 miles pr hr on the freeway!

Anyways, a much better story is how much fun we had at Bear Lake and with our neighbors!

My favorite part was walking around the old farmhouse and seeing how

people used to live. It was really interesting. I can't wait to go again. Hopefully with Clay's

So..he's not in the pantry here, but it just adds to everything else he gets into. I wonder what time he went to sleep that night after getting into all that sugar!He dumped an entire LARGE bag of marshmellow mateys on the floor. I made him shop vac it up himself. I think he had fun doing it though..

Our friends from New Mexico came to Utah for the 4th so we ended up going to her parents subdivsion party. We had a lot of fun and it was so good to see them again! We miss them so much and can't wait to hang out again. Chance played with his cars on this dirt mound most of the night. He would also slide down it

But next year..No gifts! lol!

Our Home Away from Home

So I bought Clay a little SURPRISE this summer! He goes hunting every year and always feels bad when he has to leave me and the kids behind...So we have been talking about getting a trailer. Well, little did he know I found the perfect one! I found it on ksl for DIRT CHEAP, but Clay was working graveyard and I couldn't get ahold of him. Luckily my next door neighbor Mark was willing to come with me and do all the man research on it for me. I was going to go for a drive the next day and show Clay his surprise but I couldn't wait.. so as soon as he got home the next morning I told him I bought one and he had to go pick it up! He laughed...Luckily. I think he cried when he first laid eyes on it though! ha ha. As soon as he got it home we started fixing it up and didn't stop for about two to three weeks. It is pretty much brand new now and we giggled the whole first week we had the thing! I am so sorry to all my poor neighbors who had to look at this thing sitting in our driveway and wondering what the heck we were thinking! I had to take the kids to the park while Clay worked on it so he could get something done

Yes, we did get a new mattress. The other one was 50 years old!

AFTER! It looks really good now that it is all done! Inside and out. We've had a few fun little camping trips with it and can't wait to have many more! I think it fits our little family perfectly and will be a little sad when we outgrow it.

St. George Trip

My sister has a timeshare and was nice enough to invite us to go with her to St. George at the beginning of the summer. It was a lot of fun. We stayed up late talking, hung out by the pool, ate out, and Clay even killed a rattlesnake with his flip flop! If you know Clay...this is not surprising and is just another story to add to his many with him and any sort of animal/reptile/living thing. I love having Tarzan for a husband! Good thing my middle name is Jane! ha ha

Chance loved "grilling" at the condo! We had chicken, beef, pork, and duck. Mmmmm

Chance did have some competition. Clay made some yummy shishkabobs (is that how you spell it?) ha ha

I love this picture! It shows that we couldn't be happier on our wedding day and I know that 6 years later we still feel the same way :) I think we've had quite a fun adventure together so far and can't wait to see what the rest of eternity has in store for us!

So for his birthday this year we went with the BUG theme. He had a little bug party with a caterpillar cake, dirt and worm icecream cups, and we gave out snakes and insects. Sorry to everyone that didn't get an invite, but I have the HUGEST family ever so maybe when we get a bigger house! :)

Nifty Ideas

So I've been looking, asking, you name it for ideas or things to do for Chance while we're stuck inside the house during the winter or anytime for that matter.We try not to go out, cause going out usually means atleast $50 later your back home. So what to do besides watch lots of tv??? I found an awesome website that gives me tons of ideas for little crafts, etc... that we can do and things he can learn about it. www.first-school.ws For example, we're going to learn about weather this week. So everyday is a new activity/craft to do with weather (well pretty much snow for now). We will color pages, dress a snowman, make snowflakes, have snowman (marshmellow) treats, maybe even go on a snowmobile ride. This is my first go on the whole idea, but hopefully we're not so bored and Chance can learn something new! Just thought I'd pass this website on if any of you were in the same boat looking for something to do.

Carrie Underwood's concert was so much fun! I love just hanging out with with the girls once in awhile. We all had such a blast! We ate at Applebees first and then went to the concert at the E Center. She was amazing. We kinda had to hurry home though. We were gone for 6 hours and poor Lyndee (or should I say poor Clay) cried most the time. Thanks hon, for putting up with a crying baby so I could get out of the house!

I've been tagged by Alison to do this so here it goes:

1 * I hate having a messy car or house etc.. But if you looked in my car you wouldn't think so. It drives me nuts and i wish i was more easy going about it.

2 * Trying to figure things out on the computer or any electronic thing. I'm too impatient when it comes to this stuff. That's why it took me so long to do a blog!

3 * I assume to much. I hate asking people 20 ?'s to figure anything out. So therefore I usually assume a lot of things. Which I'm trying to work on so I know what is going on better.

4 * Weeds* Usually if I walk by a weed I have to pull it. Chance is picking up on this. It takes us forever to go on walks! I stick to our yard, but he has to get every dandelion from here to the mailbox! lol!

5 * Saying "Just Kidding" too much:) If you know me, you know I say this after EVERYTHING. Even when I'm not. It's just a habit I've had since Jr. High. I'm working on this too :) j/k

6 * I'm not sure Clay even knows this about me, but I can't sleep with my arms, legs, or feet off the bed. For some reason I think some(thing/one) is gonna reach up and grab em. (weird I know) So I have to have them on the bed at all times! ha ha

WOW! A girls day out finally! Me, Ashley, Merissa, and Melissa stayed overnight in the most GHETTO hotel ever, but it was so much fun. It looked like a prison that had been transformed into a hotel. There was even a bullet hole in the elevator door! ha ha (But I forgot to take a picture of that) Alison and Stephanie also went up for the day. We all went shopping and out to eat with NO KIDS! (except for little Lyndee) Hey we needed a stroller so we had somewhere to put all our bags... It did rain on us most of the day, but luckily it would come and go so we didn't get too wet. We stayed up until 3 am telling sasquatch and "I Survived" stories. And ofcourse we had to play WHAT IF.. AND THEN. Our car was packed for the ride home. We had to squish ourselves around the luggage. It was blast! Every mom should take a weekend out with the girls once in awhile :)
